HOPE IN JESUS FOR ALL

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.

Whereunto I also labor, striving according to His working, which worked in me mightily (Col 1).

Thank God for Jesus who was that mystery revealed accordingly... who came to seek and save the lost (Lk 19:9,10; Jon 3:16-17). I am glad He came not by chance, or by accident; but according to God's plan of redemption. If Christ Jesus Had not come:

A. Gentiles would be lost, without hope (Jon 10:15- 16).

B. The Lord's Church would not be a numerical/spiritual reality (Mat 16:18-19; Mk 9:1; Ac 2; Eph 1:21-23).

C. Baptism in the New Birth would have no merit (Mat 28:18-20; Mk 16:15-16; Jon 3:3-5; Rm 6:1-6). Glory be to God He came and there is Hope for all.

And He said unto them, thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations beginning at Jerusalem (Lk 24).

Thank God, Jesus said, it is written (the Prophets said He was coming). Hope In Jesus For All; He came and fulfilled God's scheme of things as they said He would.  Otherwise, there would be no repentance and remission of sins. Let the redeemed say Amen if you can. There is hope in Jesus for every nation and every creature in the world (Mat 28:18-20; Mk 16:15-16).

"If a man die shall he live again", Job asked in his dying days (Job 14:14); was never really answered until Jesus came and said to Martha in deep grief... (yes) "I am the resurrection and I am the life "(Jon 11:23 -26). Paul said: "But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain... and we are false witnesses of God"...(I Cor. 15:12-15. Thanks and glory to God for Hope In Jesus for all who obey.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Ye are my friends, if you do whatever I  command you (Jon 15).

God's love for the world moved Him to give up His only begotten Son for the sins of the world (Jon 3:16- 17). And Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice of giving up His life for all who will deny oneself and come to Him (Mk 8:34). There is a matchless Hope In Jesus For All who obey by Faith.

Conclusion:

If the Lord Jesus Christ had not come and fulfilled God's promise and mission for man:

A. N Testament Christianity would not be Heb 8:6-13; 12:23-24).

B. The Church of Christ could not be Mat 16:18-19; Mk 9:1; Ac 2).

C. Water baptism would have no Divine merit (Jon 3:3-5; Ac 2:36-38; Rm 6:1 -6).

D. Christian marriage would not have such a powerful significance (Eph 5:22-33).

Thanks to God there is one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God.... (Eph 4:3-6). He came, died, was buried and got up the third day... crowned King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the bright morning star... the everlasting Prince of Peace!

A Blessing To Know

For I know the thoughts that I think of you, saith the Lord, the thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Then shall ye call upon me,  and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye search for me with all your heart (Jer 29).

As our lives unfolds each and everyday; It's A Blessing To Know God is ever favorable toward His own... the faithfully committed! It is not in man to direct his own steps (Jer 10:23). The steps of a good man are God-directed (Ps 37:23).

In these days and times of grave uncertainty almost everywhere; don't lose faith in God! He knows those who belong to Him. And His thoughts are pleasant toward us... "ye shall call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you" (v. 12). Please read: (Mat 7:7-8; I Pet 5:7). Trust and obey the Lord at all times; and at all times He will keep the coast clear and safe!

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the heathens, I will be exalted in the earth.

The Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. (Psa 46).

It is A Blessing To Know God is God; and beside Him there is not another. He ever reminded man in the past and even now; to let go your worries/troubles no matter what; He is God, and our refuge.

The need of the hour is for God's people is to stop; stand still and see the salvation of God... Look and see how God has and is blessing and delivering us; in spite of whatever the challenges common to life.

1. Bless the Lord O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His Holy name.

2. Bless the Lord O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.

3. Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases;

4. Who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies.

5. Who satisfies your mouth with good things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's (Psa 103).

It is A Blessing To Know, God is providing for all who Love and obey Him.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

My Father which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck  them out of my Father's hand.

I and my Father are one (Jon 10).

A Blessing To Know God:

A. So loved the world He gave His only begotten Son for the Sins of the world (Jon 3:16-17).

B. The Lord Jesus and His Father are one / complete regarding all things having to do with life and godliness.

  1. Can't have one without the other... (I Jon 2:21-23).

  2. The Lord's sheep, the Church; are one (Eph 1:21- 23; 5:23-33).

  3. All are commanded to walk by the same rule and mind the same thing in the Lord (Phil 3:16).

  4. Salvation by obedient Faith comes only in the name of Jesus (Ac 4:11,12; Col 3:17). And,

  5. Jesus will never forsake His sheep, the Kingdom Church; and no man including Satan the enemy of God, have enough power to take us from the hand of God (Heb 13:5-6).

A Blessing To Know God provides for His Sheep who Love and obey!

I Never Saw It Funny!

While growing up as a young man I saw many things done in the name of "Fun" by many! As a keen observer and lover of the Word; this was a great learning and growing experience in making wise choices in the Lord!

I Never Saw It Funny, One Coming Out of  Intoxication:

1. Not knowing who I am, or  how I got here...

2. Asking where is my wallet, or who took my money...

3. Being charged of crimes I had no knowledge...

4. Accused of verbal/moral, or physical abuse I have no recall... oh the list of things goes on and on regarding such madness in the name of fun.

We are reminded to watch over our shoulders, the days are evil... be vigilant, be sober, use good judgment (Eph 5:15-18; I Pet. 5:7-9). Paul wrote: and be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit (Eph 5:18). A spiritual high in Jesus will leave one Sober and Hangover Free! Don't be deceived by the side effects of wine (Pro 20:1). "Let's Do It!"

What Are You Waiting On?

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart (Ps 37:4).

This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us (I Jon 5:14).

Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive (Mat 21:22).

A. David, the man after God's own heart said: Ask God and He will give us the desires of our heart.

B. The Apostle John said:.. if we ask anything  according to His will, He hears us" ... this is the confidence...

C. The Lord Jesus assures His Saints: whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive".

 1. In the middle of the storms, Pray!

 2. When the storms are over, and sun is shining bright again, Pray!

3. Learn to be content no matter the circumstances (Phil 4:11- 13).

Conclusion:

The Prayer of a righteous man no doubt; gets God's attention  (Jas 5:16)! What Are You Waiting On? God is waiting to bless all His Saints who ask Him. Talk to Him, tell Him, trust Him, and Wait on the Lord.

KEEP OUR JOY IN JESUS

The lips of truth shall be established for ever; but a lying tongue is but for a moment,

Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counselors of Peace is joy.

There shall no evil happen to the just, but the wicked shall be filled with mischief (Pro 12).

The age old question yet remain: how can two walk together if not in agreement (Amos 3:3)  All too often our expectations of certain ones are greater than what they know give; or more than they are willing to give; or desire to give! Lest we forget; if he or she is filled with an evil nature;  an evil behavior becomes a norm for the same!

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakes of Christ's sufferings: that, when His glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.

If you be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are you; for the spirit of glory and of God rest upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of,  but on your part He is glorified (I Pet 4). Hold on to Lord and see how all who are thusly connected; will gravitate in the Spirit of Love, Joy, and Peace.

Do You Really Know God?

Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.

He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abided of old. Selah.. Because they have no changes, therefore fear not God (Ps 55).

After having been saved by the Lord God from the dangerous pits, the muddy clay, and his feet set on dry ground; David's testimony is worthy to be embraced:

A. Three (3) times a day will I talk to God (Morning, Noon and Night).

B. He knew by knowledge and experience, God would hear his voice.

C. He knew God delivered him from his battle; not himself. His victory over Goliath, the Lion and the Bear was God just like that!

D. David was not ashamed to cry aloud to the Lord, when overwhelmed by the woes and troubles that are common to Life.

David like other faithful hero's of God showed the world by his faithfulness.  Psalm 23, a very relative message in the Psalms of David's. It expresses a kind interaction  between God and David like a Sheppard and Sheep relationship.

In short: When we come to know and obey the Lord God like David and others by obedient faith:

A. The Lord is our provider, we have no need to fear and worry.

B. Like a Good Sheppard He will provide time and opportunity for us relax and meditate on the Word.

C. He restores our soul... not willing that any be lost (vs 3).

D. As David walked in the valley and shadow of death; he had no fear... he learned to trust and obey God.... God continues to provide for His own...

Job said without doubt:

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the later day upon the earth:

And though after my skin worms destroying this body; yet in my flesh shall I see God (Job 19). In his dying days; Job knew by knowledge, obedient faith and experience God was alive and he was safe in His Care.

Those who knew God over the years as recorded in the annals of Bible History; it's reflected in their verbiage, manner of life, and Faith toward God. They showed up, spoke up, and behaved in full confidence in the Lord God. Even at this brief moment in time; the Words and actions of Father Abraham and all others reverberate in our hearts, minds and souls to the glory of God; and inspire us trust God and move ahead.

All who have come to a sense of maturity in the Christian Faith today: their verbiage, manner of life, undaunted Faith inspire others to show up, speak up, and bear fruit to please God and not man (2 Pet 1:5-8).

In the midst of joy, pain, hardships, successes,  illness, death, etc. we know to be positive in Jesus because:

A. God makes no mistakes.

B. God's strength made strong in weakness...

C. God is no respecter of persons...all who respect and obey Him belong...

D. I know God will provide...

E. I know God will find away for me...

F. No matter what others think, say, or do; God is in control of my life... not man!

Conclusion:

Don't be ashamed to show up, speak up and live up for Jesus... if we deny Him He will do us the same before God (Mk 8:38).

I'M MAD/ANGRY YA'LL

When someone made an announcement like in the above to family, friends, neighbors, even strangers in our historic past; it was for your own good. In short; don't cross me, I might hurt somebody. Let me be until I can get out of this evil fix I'm in!

Unfortunately, people are Angry/Mad about many things small, great and in between; without giving us warnings for the good of others and themselves. The element of surprise in gun violence and self-flicked wounds are used to take lives in large numbers.

Nothing good ever comes out of Anger/Mad behavior:

A. So then my beloved... let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God (Jas 1:19-20.

B. "Be angry, and sin not." do not let the sun go down on wrath (Eph 4;26).

C. A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (Pro 15:1).

D. He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, but he who is impulsive exalts folly (Pro 14:29).

"Anger Management" is an absolute essential for God's children.  GOD is our Divine, Supreme Counselor who cannot fail!

CONFUSED:  Not From God!

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus, who does all things well. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Tim 1:7) ...God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. God's Divine nature promotes love, joy and peace among His saint (Mat 5:9).

A. Where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partially and without hypocrisy.

And the fruit of righteousness  is sown in Peace by those who make Peace  (Jas 3).

Make peace with God and your self first, no matter what; family, neighbors and wherever God's Peace leads you just like that; and that will be enough to move ahead in God's Peace that passes all understanding (Phi 4:7)

THE GUIDANCE WE NEED

Oh, how we need the love and guidance of God each and every day of our lives!) It is very obvious we do not have the innate power to guide ourselves uprightly (Jer 10: 23). No wonder David said: "Your Word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against you" (Psa 119:11). In verse 105, he said: "Your Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path". No! all humankind will not submit to God's love and guidance. But all who do, will be blessed beyond measure in things (College 3:17).

A. When you roam, they will lead you: when you sleep, they will keep you; and when you awake, they will speak with you, for the commandment is a lamp, as the law is a light; reproofs of instructions are the way of life (Psa 22-23). Man is incomplete without God's guidance!

B. By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakes of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption  that is in the world through lust (2 Per 1;4). One cannot and will not be guided God until he take on the Divine Nature from GOD!

6. To be carnal minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the Law of God, nor indeed can be.

8. So then those in the flesh cannot please God (Rom 8).

Humankind therefore, must be born again (Jon 3:3,5; II Cor 5:17). We must take on the  Divine nature of God or remain carnal, incomplete, and the enemy of God!

When God's Divine nature is the power in our walk, talk, and lifestyle we know it and can't keep from showing it! Amen! Getting happy all by myself Lord.

Jesus said: ...the Words I speak unto you are Spirit and they are life" (Jon  6:63). Can't have one without the other. And when they are the drivers in our nature, the words of the ever wise Solomon becomes alive: "When you roam, they will lead you: when you sleep, they will keep you; and when you awake, they will speak with you, for the commandment is a lamp, as the law is a light; reproofs of instructions are the way of life (Pro 6:22-23). Again, man is lost and incomplete without God's guidance!

Paul the last chosen Apostle by the Lord, found himself in a tailspin trying to serve the Lord in the beginning (Rom 7:7-25.  He made this lasting observation about the war between the inner and outer man, the "Flesh":

21. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22. Bui I delight in the law of God after the inner man:

23. But I see another law in my members, waring against the law of my members, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24. O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25. I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord, so then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

A. Through it all, Paul leaned to be content and to depend upon the Lord (Phil 4:11-13). So must all who desire to do God's will and way. We cannot  let anything separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Rom 8:31-39.

B. In the Words of Jesus ..."Be faithful until death, and I will give you a crown of life" (Rev 2:10). The Divine Nature of God is an absolute necessity for our survival of the war between  the Inner and Outer man; the Spirit and the Flesh!

1. Blessed is the man that walk not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful.

2. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law does he meditate day and night.

3. And he shall  be like a tree planted by rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does he shall prosper.

4. The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

5. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,  nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous Psa 1).

Conclusion:

A. The way of the Lord is right, no exception!

B. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (Jon 14;1-6).

C. Obedience to Divine Truth by Divine Faith will set one free (Jon 8:32). Jesus is the man!

11. This is the stone which was set at naught of you builders, which is now become the head of the corner.

12. Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name given among men, whereby we must be saved (Ac 4).

 D. Again, May God bless you to be led and guided in all things pertaining to life and godliness in Jesus (Col 3:17). And that will be enough!

Waiting Faithfully In God!

The Faithful heroes listed in Hebrews, were in faithful obedience unto the Lord God (Heb 11,12).  Which of course, enabled them to know, love, trust, obey and wait on God. The same formula is on demand today for all who submit to the Lord Jesus Christ. We must be doers of the Word, and not just hearers of the Word (Jas 1:22).

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful (Heb 10:23). In brief: don't stop our forward movement fearing our surroundings; the Lord is faithful in making good his promises. "We have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end" (Heb 3:14).

David said; I wait for the Lord, my soul wait, and in His Word I do hope (Psa 130:5). Be encouraged in the Lord: "Let's Do It" and be eternally blessed!
