God's Joy Sustains... Please Read: John 16:21-24

Jesus's time to go back to Father God had come; His disciples were sorrowful, rightfully so... but Joy comes after sorrow! Jesus in short said: its going to be ok; even, better after I am gone. I will give you a "Joy" nobody can take from you! Let not your heart be trouble... Jon 14:1-6. Before now you had no need to ask; after I am gone you, just ask my Daddy in my name, and He will give it to you Mat 7:7-8; Jon 16:24. No matter what your needs are; my Father got you covered. This Divine "Joy" resonated out of their relationship/connection with God through Jesus, by obedient by faith!

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand...in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus Phil 4:4-7.

God's Joy:

  • Provides calmness in the midst of the storms common to life.
  • Provides hope when others have doubt... no matter what, or why?
  • Provides reasons to love as God's children ... not be enslaved by sinful hate.
  • Provides the reasons for being faithfully committed until the end... the benefits are out of this world!

Faith in God comes by hearing the call of God by the Word, in obedient faith Rm 1:16; 10:17; II Thes 2:14. The Joy of our salvation begins in the new birth; when made free from sin, a new life in Jesus! It becomes more and more pronounced as spiritual maturity unfolds! "...may the God of all grace who called us by His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered awhile, perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you 1 Pet 5:10. Recognition of these and other amenities in Jesus; increases the Joy of our salvation!

This overwhelming Joy, is more about finite man having connection  and inter-action with Infinity, God!  That Joy, Jesus gave to finite man and said: nobody can take it away Jon 16:22-24! That Joy, came out of God's great love, mercy, death and resurrection of Jesus for the world Jon 3:16-17; 15:13!

That Joy, will sustain us no matter how dark the night or how bleak the day!

God is standing by!

  • At the end of your day/night shift; you will say thank you Lord for you keeping your Joy...
  • When the Devil inspired move on without you losing your Joy; you can say thank you Lord!
  • When you keep your peace in the midst of adversity; you can say thank you Lord for my Joy, sustained me!

Live For Jesus And Live

As His Divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue... been  given  exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the Divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust 2 Pet 1:3-4.

By God's love, mercy, and Grace; every nation, and ever creature in the world community; can Live For Jesus, And Live Jon 3:16-17; Mat 28:19-20; Mk 16:15-16; Ac 1, 2.

  • The Abundant Life is in Him, for the obedient by faith Jon 10:10; 2 Cor 5:17; Heb 11:6.
  • The Church,  was purchased with the blood of Jesus Ac 20:28.
  • Jesus is the head of His family, the Church  Eph 5:22-33; 1:19-23.
  • Be born again and live faithfully until death in Him, and live eternally Jon 3:3-5; Ac 2:36-47; Rm 6:4-12; Rev 2:10; 14:13.
  • Live for Him and in Him, with the power of love and a sound mind; without fear 2 Tim 1:7.

Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you 1 Pet 5:7.

Because He lived, died, rose from the dead to die no more; we must die to the love and practice of sin in the new birth (baptism) for the remission of past sins, not to die again Rom 6:4-10. Baptism is not about taking a water bath; but the answer of a good conscious toward God 1 Pet 3:21.

By Grace we were made alive in Jesus to Live, Live, Live! God is not the God of the dead, but the living Mat 22:32.  In Him we live, move, and be Ac 17:26. Thanks to God, Jesus is Lord of both the dead and living Rom 14:7-10. So, Live For Jesus And Live:

  • FREE from the power, stain, stress, and guilt of past sin Ac 2:36-38; 2 Cor 5:17.
  • FREE from judging others to our inabilities common to all Rm 14:10 -13.
  • FREE from Devil induced stress or worry of any kind Jon 14:1-6; 1 Pet 5:6-11.
  • FREE in knowing if God said it, that settles it; He has the First and the Last Word... Alpha and Omega Isa 55:6-9; Rev 1:8; 12:13.
  • FREE to have a good-self image in Jesus no matter what others think, say, or do 1 Pet 2:5, 9-10.
  • FREE knowing the Devil can't do us no harm while walking in the Light of Jesus 2 Tim 1:7; Jon 5:18; Rm 8:31-39.
  • FREE knowing all who die in the Lord are safe and will have the victory 1 Cor 15:50-58; Rev 14:13; 20:11-15.

Unfairness of Criticism To Harm

Criticism is not by any means a new discovery! This sinful evil and it's harmful side-effects; have been around from the beginning to date! Affecting clients, professionals, presidents, God's people, and all in the human experience! Though, I am moved more by criticisms to Harm; in the midst of God's people who should know and do better. All too often; spreading negative press against others not meeting their expectations, they want do for one reason or another. Unfair to the core!

Lest we forget, the Lord's Church is made up of imperfect people. All having faults, and falling short of God's glory, in one way or another. We came from dirt; we are going back to dirt; that we can be certain! Thus, all will do some (dirty) sinful things, due to the powerful pull of the Devil . The Word warns: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us 1 Jon 1:8.

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted Gal 6:1. Every action said and done in the process; should be done to save or retrieve the fallen; never to Harm in no Form or Fashion!

Constructive Criticism is critical in the teaching/training, learning and growing processes; otherwise little or no success will be realized for the better good. God chastises the one's He loves Heb 12:6. But the negative things we say and do to Harm... character assassination is sinfully evil and has no place in the assembly of God's Saints. Six (6) things God hates, and seven (7) abominates Him... he that sows discord among the brethren Pro 6:14-19; Mat 12:30.

Only righteousness gets God's attention. Not what one owns, lives, position in life, school one matriculated from, or nothing else to be exact; gives one priority with God Mk 8:35-38. Jesus said to status seekers: ...unless you are converted and become as little children, you will not by no means enter the kingdom of heaven Mat 18:3. Note: child-like; not childish behavior! There is a difference!

Certain saints in the early Church at Jerusalem; had critical concerns about their widows being neglected of their daily needs ...informed the Apostles accordingly Ac 6. No, not to do harm to the fellowship. But, seeking a resolve only!  Thanks to God they went to the right source; who gave them the right answer! Serving tables is not our ministry the apostles said; find seven (7) men full of the Holy Spirit in your midst, whom we can place over this matter.  Satisfaction achieved, the Gospel spread, love and peace sustained, and God's will was done the more Ac 6:1-7.

The purity, love, and peace in the body, the Church; is an in-house spiritual norm and expectation... edifying itself... peace making... and reconciling the indifferent in the common faith and doctrine; should be top priority for all! Don't permit Devil-inspired rage in us, to bring harm to members, or the Church body; while trying to be right Heb 12:9-21. Please read: Jon 17:6-26; Mat 12:30!

Constructive Criticism for the good of others in the learning and growing experience especially; is an honorable thing to do in Jesus!

But Criticism, meant to Harm or Hurt; is ungodly, unholy, sinful and rude!

Harmful behavior is unacceptable and is not tolerated in the Lord! A house divided against itself will not stand Mat 12:25! A divided house occurs when the well-intended lose their Spiritual Posture and become ego-driven seeking to be right; become wrong and do great harm to the Church and themselves! All harmful behaviors must be in our historic past; not after the new birth Jon 3:3,5; 2 Cor 5:17; 1Tim 1:12-16.
